The Swedish women's soccer team is known for their athleticism and skill on the field. They rolled through the group stage in the 2023 Women’s World Cup going 3-0 and advanced to the knockout round. They are currently ranked 3rd in the world but did you know that they are also cornhole players? In a recent twitter clip, the team was seen playing cornhole in their downtime. They were all smiles as they threw beanbags at the boards, but they are also apparently quite competitive (who would have guessed!). ESPN has a great article and story behind the tweets. 2023 Cornhole Championship

The 2023 ACL Cornhole Championships just completed. The tournament was held in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and many of the best cornhole players attended. The tournament featured a variety of events, including Pro Singles, Pro Doubles, Men’s and Women’s pro shootouts a blind draw and more. The prize pool for the tournament was over $700,000 with many high payout events. Below is a quick summary of some of the event’s winners and their payouts.

Dayton Webber Cornhole Pro Featured on Today.com


For those who don’t know Dayton Webber’s story, he is a a 25-year-old quadruple amputee who is a professional cornhole player. Webber contracted a blood infection when he was 10 months old which led to the amputation of his arms and legs. Despite these challenges, Webber has learned to do many things, including driving, writing, and playing cornhole.

Webber started playing cornhole as an amateur eight years ago. He quickly became a skilled player and eventually turned professional two years ago and has won a few tournaments. The ACL tweeted one of his matches which can be seen here
